NEW YORK—Following the success of its 2025 debut, premium luxury eyewear show EYECON today announces its return to The Glasshouse in New York City from March 6-8, 2026. The show will bring together influential eyewear designers, retailers and fashion insiders. “EYECON’s mission is to continue to redefine the way the industry connects, collaborates and celebrates the artistry of eyewear,” show organizers said. The 2026 edition of EYECON will both build on the inaugural year’s foundation of innovation and storytelling and expand its mission to highlight the next generation of luxury eyewear, the announcement said.
This will include emerging designers, visionary retailers and boundary-pushing creatives, while also continuing to honor the legacy of established brands whose craftsmanship and influence have shaped the eyewear industry.
“EYECON is about evolution,” said Tarrence Lackran, founder of EYECON. “We’re creating a platform where heritage and innovation exist in the same space—where icons of the industry share the stage with the designers and retailers shaping its future. It’s a journey of discovery crafted for the world’s most visionary opticians, optometrists and buyers. It’s where ideas take shape, inspiration is exchanged, and the spirit of New York sets the stage for something truly extraordinary.”
The 2026 edition of EYECON will feature the following:
The EYECON Gallery: a curated exhibition of independent and luxury eyewear brands from around the world.
EYECON[VERSATIONS]: thought-provoking panels, keynotes and continuing education sessions exploring craftsmanship, technology, retail evolution and the intersection of eyewear and fashion.
Networking Experiences: gatherings and nightlife events that bring the optical and fashion worlds together.
The Glasshouse remains the setting for EYECON; for out-of-town attendees, EYECON has partnered with The Kimpton Theta Hotel as its official hotel partner for 2026. A special room block rate will be available exclusively to EYECON exhibitors and attendees, offering a stay just a few minutes’ walk from The Glasshouse. “The Glasshouse truly embodies what EYECON represents—clarity, vision and connection,” said Jennifer Tsai, OD, founder of Line of Sight, and member of the EYECON advisory board. “It’s where fashion, optics, and innovation meet in a space that inspires both community and creativity.”
