A reckless driver did donuts in a Queens intersection.

This is the moment an obnoxious driver gave a rude awakening to a quiet Queens neighborhood, burning rubber during a late-night drag race and car meet-up that ended with a wild police chase, video obtained by The Post shows.

Bystander footage captured the hectic scene, with cars stopped in all directions at the intersection of 150th Street and Jewel Avenue in Kew Gardens Hills as a black sedan recklessly does donuts.

The driver circles several times before taking off down the road with a cop car on his tail, the footage shows.

A concerned resident dialed 911 to report dangerous racing in the area just before 10 p.m. on March 15, an NYPD spokesperson told The Post.

But the culprit managed to speed away from the cops — who weren’t able to track them down.

No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made.

“Spinning around in a busy intersection may seem like fun to some, but reckless drivers like the one shown in the video put all New Yorkers at unnecessary risk of serious injury and death,” Queens Borough President Donovan Richards said.

“Such careless and irresponsible behavior should not and will not be tolerated. Our streets are intended to be used by responsible drivers, not by knuckleheads like the one who was at the wheel here.”

A dangerous car meetup brought violence to Malba — about 6.5 miles away — in November.

The out-of-control mob did donuts on lawns and sped around the wealthy neighborhood in the middle of the night. At one point they set a car on fire and beat up a couple who tried to get the rowdy bunch off their property.

Drag racing in Kew Gardens Hills is “not a largely re-occurring issue,” a police spokesperson said.

But a fatal racing incident unfolded about six years ago in the neighborhood, when a man was internally decapitated in a harrowing crash on Parsons Boulevard.

Daniel Crawford was heading to work at Queens Hospital Center in November 2020 when his Toyota was struck by a pair of young drag racers going 90-mph, authorities said.

The 52-year-old was pronounced dead at the same hospital where he worked, while motorists Alamin Ahmed and Mir Fahmid, who were both 24 at the time, were accused of blowing red lights.

Ahmed, who’s blood alcohol level was allegedly above the legal limit at .094, was arrested at the scene, but prosecutors said Fahmid immediately fled and was not arrested until two years later.

The pair were convicted of manslaughter, according to Queens prosecutors, and in 2023 were both sentenced to seven years in prison.
