New York State Police in Brewster are searching for a 29-year-old man who fled from the barracks Friday afternoon.
Julio C. Sosa, of the Bronx, escaped custody around 4 p.m., according to police. He had been in custody on a nonviolent larceny charge.
Sosa was last seen wearing all black with a hot pink coat.
The New York State Police in Brewster are actively searching for Julio C. Sosa, 29, of Bronx, New York, who fled from the Brewster barracks Friday.
Authorities say there is no known threat to the public at this time.
Anyone who sees Sosa or has information about his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact New York State Police at 845-677-7300.
