MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A 25-year-old person was killed in a pedestrian-train collision on early Monday in Manhattan.
The Riley County Police Department reports that officers responded to a pedestrian versus train incident around 2:10 a.m. The incident occurred near East Highway 24 and Levee Drive.
When officers arrived, they located a 25-year-old person who was struck by a train and died at the scene.
RCPD says no further information regarding the incident will be released at this time.
