NEW YORK CITY — One borough has the worst drivers in the city, according to a study by LendingTree.

According to the study, Manhattan was determined to have the worst drivers in the city, with 39.6 incidents reported per 1,000 drivers.

Staten Island and Queens were ranked the second and third worst respectively.

The Bronx has the best drivers in the city with 26.8 incidents reported per 1,000 drivers, according to the study.

When it came to the best and worst drivers in the state by age group, LendingTree found Gen Z were the worst with over 60 incidents per 1,000 drivers.

Baby boomers had the lowest incident rates with only 25.1 incidents per 1,000 drivers. Gen X came in second place followed by Millennials in third place

LendingTree also looked at the worst drivers by car make in the state. They found that Buick vehicles were the worst with 51.3 incidents per 1,000 drivers. BMW vehicles have the state’s second-worst record, with 47.5 incidents.

Mitsubishi, Jeep and Volkswagen rounded out the top five.
