NEW YORK (WABC) — NJ Transit rail service was temporarily suspended into and out of Penn Station New York Monday night.

NJ Transit says the service disruptions were due to Amtrak signal issues between Penn Station New York and Newark Penn Station.

Power has been fully restored, and all tracks are now back in service, but with potential residual delays.

NJ Transit rail tickets and passes were being cross honored by PATH at Newark Penn, Hoboken and 33rd Street, New York.
