A Lancaster-made cocktail mix won over the crowd at a New York City food festival.

Sunday’s Bloody Mary Mix won the People’s Choice award for Best Bottled Mix at the Bloody Mary Festival, held March 21 in Brooklyn.

Sunday’s is owned by Annie and Collin Dawkins, who also co-own Lancaster Beignet Co. on Prince Street in Lancaster city. The couple, who grew up in Chester County but met at Millersville University, launched Sunday’s as an e-commerce venture in 2020.

The Bloody Mary Festival in Brooklyn, held at BKloft26, included curated bloody marys from New York City establishments, photo opportunities and the chance for attendees to vote on their favorite – the lattermost which resulted in Sunday’s Bloody Mary Mix’s win. Sunday’s was one of 13 businesses to participate in the event.

It’s not the first time the brand has received an accolade; the brand has also won at the international Drunken Tomato Awards.
