The NYPD is investigating two separate shootings that left three people dead in Manhattan and Queens during a balmy overnight in NYC.
Detectives in Queens are probing a possible murder-suicide that occurred at around 2 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1, inside an apartment at 33-51 84th St. in Jackson Heights.
Officers from the 115th Precinct responded to a 911 call of multiple people shot at the location. Upon arrival, they found an 18-year-old woman, bloodied from gunshot wounds to the head, torso and abdomen.
A 20-year-old man was also found with a single gunshot wound to the head.
EMS was on site and pronounced both victims dead at the scene.
Police sources said the victims were in a relationship and lived together at the address. It is unclear what may have led to the dispute that ended in the bloodshed.
Meanwhile in Manhattan, detectives are searching for a suspect who shot a man dead late Tuesday night in Harlem.
Law enforcement sources said the 36-year-old victim was gunned down in front of 111 West 110th St. just before 10:30 p.m. on March 31. Officers from the 28th Precinct responded to the crime scene, where they found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds throughout his torso.
EMS responded and rushed the bloodied man to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital in critical condition, where he was pronounced dead.
So far, no arrests have been made, and there is no suspect information at press time.
Police are withholding the names of all the victims in the two shootings pending family notification. Both investigations remain ongoing
