QUEENS, NY — Two people were shot and killed inside a Queens apartment building early Tuesday morning, police said.
The incident happened inside 33-51 84 Street around 1:50 a.m.
Officers responding to the scene found a 20-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head and an 18-year-old woman with gunshot wounds to the head and chest.
Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene. The identities of the man and woman killed have not been released yet.
A description of a possible shooter was not readily available. What led up to the shooting is not known at this time.
An investigation remains ongoing.
