Police from the 109th Precinct in Flushing are looking for three men who robbed two nail salon workers at knifepoint during the early morning of Sunday, March 22.

The trio was caught on camera gaining entry to the shop at 141-43 Northern Blvd. just after 1 a.m. and placing a potted plant against the door so they would not get locked in. As they approached the victims, the third suspect could be seen pulling out a knife. While inside, they approached a 50-year-old female and her 41-year-old co-worker, and as the knife-wielding robber threatened them at knifepoint, the other two perpetrators removed approximately $1,200 in cash and a security camera, police said. The suspect ran out of the nail salon onto Northern Boulevard and fled the location on foot in an unknown direction. The two women were not injured during the heist.

The NYPD released surveillance video of the trio entering the nail salon and described them as having dark complexions. One wore a black jacket over a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black sneakers. The second suspect wore a black jacket over a black hoodie with gray sweatpants and black sneakers. The third man, who brandished the blade, wore a gray hooded sweatshirt over a black t-shirt, gray sweatpants and white sneakers.

A reward of up to $3,500 is being offered for information that leads to their arrest and indictment.
