The jury in the trial of a Queens man in connection with the death of NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller continues to deliberate after some confusion in the courtroom Wednesday.

An apparent verdict was read in the courtroom on the charges against 36-year-old Guy Rivera Wednesday. However, after the verdict was read, each juror was asked if they agreed with the verdict, and one juror said they did not agree.

The jurors then went back to deliberate on the charges.

It is not clear whether the verdict on the charges will change now.

Rivera allegedly opened fire on Diller during a traffic stop in Far Rockaway in 2024.

He faces murder, aggravated manslaughter, attempted murder and weapons possession charges.

Closing arguments wrapped up on Tuesday.
