BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – Authorities have identified the 7-month-old girl who was shot and killed by a gunman on a moped during a suspected gang-related shooting on Wednesday.

The NYPD has since released a photo of the two men who are wanted for homicide, according to a social media post.

Kaori Patterson-Moore has been identified as the most recent victim of gun violence. As of Sunday, the total number of shooting victims this year was 155, according to CompStat.

The Shooting

Gunshots rang out near the corner of Humboldt and Moore streets in Williamsburg around 1:20 p.m., according to the NYPD.

Two men on a moped began shooting. One of them fired multiple rounds, hitting Patterson-Moore. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital by private transport and was pronounced dead, police said.

The suspects fled on a moped, heading north on Humboldt, where it later crashed. Both were ejected, and a 911 call reported an injured male needing an ambulance. The injured passenger was hospitalized, and authorities believe he is the shooter.

However, one individual remains at large, and police are asking for help.
