A woman was killed after being hit by a vehicle while crossing a Brooklyn street.

The FDNY responded to reports of a pedestrian being struck just after 6 a.m. Thursday near Ocean Avenue and Avenue O. Police said it was a 44-year-old woman.

She was taken to Maimonides Medical Center, where she died from her injuries, officers said.

Police sources said the vehicle left the scene, and it might be an ambulance.
