Scott agreed Thursday with the Nets on a 10-day hardship contract, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.

The NBA’s decision to grant the Nets a hardship exception in order to bring Scott aboard suggests that Danny Wolf (ankle) is unlikely to return to action anytime soon. Scott, 29, has been a key player for Brooklyn’s G League affiliate, the Long Island Nets, over the last two seasons. Over his 47 appearances for Long Island in 2025-26, Scott has averaged 12.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.7 three-pointers and 1.1 steals in 28.1 minutes per game. The 6-foot-8, 225-pound forward’s last NBA action came back in the 2021-22 season, when he made two appearances for the Cavaliers.
