MOTT HAVEN, the Bronx (PIX11) — Police fatally shot a man after he appeared to point a weapon at the officers in the Bronx on Thursday morning, authorities said.
The man was shot in the face in an apartment at 105 Willis Ave. in Mott Haven at around 7:20 a.m., according to the NYPD. The officers rendered aid, and the man was taken to the hospital, where he died.
Sources said the man appeared to have pointed a gun at the officers before he was shot.
