QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) — Multiple people were taken to the hospital after a white substance was reported at the Queens County Criminal Courthouse on Thursday evening, according to authorities.
Officers received a 911 call around 4:54 p.m. A white substance was found at 125-01 Queens Boulevard, and people were feeling ill, authorities said.
Four individuals sustained minor injuries. Two people were transported to a local hospital for treatment, while two others declined medical attention at the scene.
A hazmat team was called in to investigate and concluded their investigation a few hours later, authorities said.
It remains unclear what the white substance was, and no further information has been released.
The current condition of the two individuals taken to the hospital is unknown.
