Simon Holmstrom (upper body) was on the ice for the New York Islanders’ optional morning skate on Friday ahead of the team’s tilt with the Philadelphia Flyers.
Holmstrom missed Tuesday’s contest in Buffalo and Thursday’s practice on Long Island. Check back for his status for Friday’s game.
