Alexander Romanov (IR, upper-body) joined New York Islanders practice on Monday morning at Northwell Health Ice Center, donning a red non-contact jersey.
The defenseman missed the last four games. Romanov has averaged 18:12 TOI/GP this season with 15 hits and 12 blocked shots.
Marshall Warren made his NHL debut on Saturday in a 4-3 SO loss to Philadelphia after was recalled from the Bridgeport Islanders. It is unknown whether Warren or Romanov will travel with the team to Boston in the second of a four-game road trip.
Missing from skate was Max Shabanov (who missed the last two games) and Scott Mayfield. More updates to follow.
