The New York City Police Department (NYPD) has arrested Matthew Rodriguez as the second suspect in connection with the fatal shooting of 7-month-old Kaori Patterson-Moore in Brooklyn on Wednesday.
Rodriguez, 18, was taken into custody in Pennsylvania by NYPD detectives, the department said on its official X account. Charges are yet to be determined.
Kaori Patterson-Moore, of Clinton Hill, a neighborhood about 2 miles from where she was killed on a sidewalk, was shot in a double stroller with her brother at about 1:20 p.m. on Wednesday, when a man on a moped fired at a group of adults and children in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, according to police.
The suspected shooter, Amuri Greene, 21, pleaded not guilty to murder and other charges at an arraignment Friday night and was held without bail.
