Fresh off a successful Barbarian Look-alike Contest event in New York City, Clash of Clans is inviting fans worldwide to channel their inner Barbarian this Halloween season.

This past weekend, DAVID New York orchestrated a vibrant physical event in New York City, drawing crowds to celebrate the game’s hero. Inspired by celebrity look-alike contests that took over 2025, the agency challenged fans and Halloween enthusiasts to embody the Barbarian. Guests included Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns, past look-alike contest winner Miles Mitchell, former judge Benjamin De Almeida, and Davis Burleson from ‘What’s Poppin? With Davis!’ who hosted the show. Participants competed for a $10,000 grand prize and a Barbarian moustache comb.

On the heels of this star-studded New York event, the brand is now launching a global competition on social media, inviting everyone to join the fun. Running through November 3rd, anyone who posts their Barbarian costume using the hashtag #BarbarianHalloween will be entered to win valuable in-game rewards. Fans eager for inspiration can tune in to the official NYC event recap video, or use the hashtag to see how creators and cosplayers are already bringing the Barbarian to life.

“The Barbarian is Clash of Clans’ most iconic character, so we wanted to give him the celebrity treatment he deserves. And what better way to do that than throwing a look-alike contest?” said André Toledo, chief creative officer at DAVID New York. “To make sure we found our worthy champions, we’ve partnered with the experts: past look-alike contest winners and Clash of Clans’ biggest players.”
