Cops are looking for these suspects, who took part in several violent robberies in Corona last month.

Police from the 115th Precinct in Jackson Heights and the 110th Precinct in Elmhurst are looking for five suspected muggers who targeted older men on or around Roosevelt Avenue in a series of violent robberies last month.

The first incident occurred during the early morning hours of Saturday, March 7 as a 41-year-old man was in front of a store at 104-29 Roosevelt Ave. in Corona just after 2 a.m. when he was jumped from behind by four strangers who struck him with closed fists and pushed him to the sidewalk, where they forcibly removed his wallet containing $200 in cash and his two cellphones, reported police from the 115th Precinct. The perpetrators ran off eastbound on Roosevelt Avenue toward 108th Street.

The following morning, three of the unidentified suspects allegedly jumped a 62-year-old man a block south of the Park of the Americas in Corona at 3 a.m. on March 8. After knocking the victim to the sidewalk in front of 102-30 43rd Ave. in the confines of the 110th Precinct, the perpetrators snatched his wallet containing $165 in cash and two cellphones before running off in an unknown direction.

About an hour later, the trio was back on Roosevelt Avenue, where they targeted a 47-year-old man at 4 a.m. who they approached from behind in front of 108-02 Roosevelt Ave., shoved him down to the sidewalk and struck him repeatedly with closed fists. The assailants forcibly removed his cellphone and fled eastbound toward 111th Street. The three victims sustained minor injuries and refused medical attention at the crime scenes. There have been no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing, an NYPD spokesperson said Friday.

The NYPD released surveillance images of the suspects and described them as having light complexions. One wore a distinctive black hooded sweatshirt with a multi-colored design across the chest and white lettering on the sleeves, black pants, dark sneakers and a black face covering. The second assailant wore a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and white sneakers. The third and fourth muggers appeared to be younger. One wore a black jacket, black sweatpants, white sneakers and a white baseball cap, while the other wore a black sweatshirt, black pants and black sneakers. The fifth suspect was the heaviest of the crew and wore a black jacket, black pants, white sneakers and a black baseball cap.

A reward of up to $3,500 is being offered for information that leads to their arrest and indictment.

Through March 26, the 110th Precinct has reported 69 robberies so far in 2026, 14 fewer than the 83 reported at the same point last year, a decline of 16.9%, according to the most recent CompStat report. Felony assaults are also down in the precinct with 139 reported so far this year, a dozen fewer than the 151 reported at the same point in 2025, a decrease of 16.9%, according to CompStat.

The 115th Precinct has reported 62 robberies so far in 2026, four more than the 58 reported at the same point last year, an increase of 6.9%, according to CompStat. Felony assaults are trending much lower in the precinct with 87 reported so far this year, 37 fewer than the 124 reported at the same point in 2025, a decline of 29.8%, according to CompStat.
