CHARLOTTE, N.C. – North Florida dropped the series finale, 6-3, against Queens at The Stick Williams Dream Fields in Charlotte, N.C., on Saturday afternoon.

For the third consecutive-game, the Ospreys put runs on the board in the first inning.

After a leadoff single from graduate student Hallie Langford, a throwing error allowed her to score and junior utility player Addie Keef to advance to second base. Sophomore outfielder Kennedy McQuillan would contribute her third double of the weekend to bring in Keef and give UNF a 2-0 lead.

Junior infielder Bella Cimino added to the Osprey lead with a towering solo home run to left center field, her team-best ninth homer of the season.

Queens would grab the lead after three-consecutive home runs to take a 6-3 lead into the sixth inning.

Making her first start of the season, senior outfielder Amanda Aardema recorded her first hit of the year with a sixth-inning single.

North Florida threatened in the seventh inning with two one-out singles, but the runners were left stranded.
