QUEEN VALLEY, AZ (AZFamily) — One person is dead after a wrong-way crash on US 60 east of the Valley Saturday morning.
Just before 7:30 a.m., state troopers responded to the two-car crash on U.S. 60 near El Camino Viejo, which is near the community of Queen Valley located between Gold Canyon and Superior.
One person died on the scene, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
There is no estimated time for the roadway to reopen. Westbound lanes are not affected.
Drivers are advised to expect delays and seek an alternate route. Westbound lanes are not affected.
