Rep. Meng on efforts to support firehouses, senior centers

On this week’s “In Focus,” NY1’s Cheryl Wills visits Rep. Grace Meng at a firehouse in Maspeth.

Meng says the 100-year-old firehouse received $2 million for renovations, including fixing the apparatus floor and electrical system.

They also visit a senior center in Elmhurst, which Meng says is facing funding concerns due to federal budget cuts.
