A Brooklyn woman was charged with grand larceny after she allegedly store more than $50,000 from at least 27 retail stores in an eight-month period, Nassau police said.

Detectives said that since August, Magdalena Samsin, 41, entered stores, selected items, passed the points of purchase and left without paying.

The value of the items she took from more than 27 retail stores totaled more than $50,000, police said. The owners of the stores allegedly targeted were not immediately available for comment.

Detectives arrested Samsin on Friday without incident after an investigation.

She was charged with second-degree larceny and arraigned on Saturday at First District Court in Hempstead.

Samsin was held without bail, according to online court documents.
