BRYAN, Texas – Sophomore Brooklyn Millard paced the Toledo women’s golf team in Monday’s opening round of The ‘Mo’ Morial Invitational. The three-day tournament is being hosted by Texas A&M at the par-72, 6,450-yard Traditions Club.

Millard shot a five-over par 77 today and played her first 10 holes at one-over par thanks to registering a pair of birdies.

Tulsa is leading the 15-team field at 13-over par, one stroke in front of the host No. 3-ranked Aggies and No. 35 Missouri. Texas A&M’s Vanessa Borovilos was the only individual to shoot under par and is at minus-one.

The tournament’s second round will begin with tee times at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow with a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start being utilized for Wednesday’s third and final round.
