GOWANUS, Brooklyn (PIX11) — An affordable housing lottery has opened in Gowanus, offering renters an opportunity to live in a neighborhood with its own “Venice-like appeal.”
The lottery is for units at 325 Bond Street.

There are 16 studios available for $903 a month. One to two people with an annual household income from $34,766 and $51,840 qualify.
There are 33 one-bedroom apartments for $961 a month. One to three people with an annual household income from $37,269 and $58,320 qualify.
There are also 18 two-bedroom apartments for $1,142 a month. A household of two to five people earning between $44,880 and $70,000 qualify.

Amenities include a business center, a children’s playroom, an outdoor terrace, a gymnasium, and a yoga and dance studio.
Rent includes heating and hot water. Tenants are responsible for electricity.
