An inferno erupted inside the basement of a building in Borough Park.
The FDNY says firefighters responded to 6007 Fort Hamilton Parkway just before 7:45 p.m. Tuesday. They say the fire quickly escalated to a third alarm and spread to the buildings first floor.
Citizen app footage from the scene shows smoke taking over the surrounding area as firefighters work to contain the blaze.
