A 26-year-old man was slashed in the face aboard a Manhattan subway train, cops said Wednesday.

Police released images of the suspected slasher and are asking the public’s help identifying him and tracking him down.

The victim was attacked aboard a downtown No. 4 train at the 14th St.-Union Square stop about 2:40 p.m. Friday, police said.

The victim and his attacker had been arguing when the other rider slashed him with an unidentified weapon, police said.

Medics took the victim to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.

The attacker ran off. He was wearing a gray sweater, gray sweatpants, glasses and a black backpack, cops said.
