New York City is asking parents to weigh in as it expands free child care options.
Some families have received postcards inviting them to complete the New York City Parent Survey, while others can participate online.
City officials say the feedback will help shape the rollout of universal child care, including 2,000 free 2-K seats and more than 1,000 new 3-K seats planned for this fall.
Emmy Liss, head of the Mayor’s Office of Child Care, joined “Mornings On 1” Wednesday to discuss the survey and how parent input will guide the city’s plans.
