The New York Giants have undergone a significant roster overhaul this offseason under their newly hired head coach, John Harbaugh.
Although the Giants lost two of their top three free agents, both of whom departed to join Brian Daboll with the Tennessee Titans, Harbaugh and general manager Joe Schoen have been busy reshaping the roster.
On Wednesday, the Giants announced new jersey numbers for several incoming players.
Tight end Isaiah Likely had already announced that he would be wearing No. 9. Wide receiver Darnell Mooney will wear No. 17, which was left vacant by the departure of Wan’Dale Robinson. Fullback Patrick Ricard will wear No. 45 after previously wearing No. 42 with the Baltimore Ravens. Tremaine Edmunds will continue to sport the No. 49 he has worn throughout his career.
Kicker Jason Sanders will wear No. 8, which was worn by safety Jevon Holland in 2025. Likely, Holland will also change his number in his second year with the Giants, just as Abdul Carter did when he switched to No. 3 last month.

Jason Pinnock, who is back for his second stint with Big Blue, will wear No. 25—a change from the No. 27 he wore with the team previously.
It should be noted that jersey numbers are very fluid before the start of the season, especially with more free agent signings and the incoming rookie class expected later this month.
