Man, 32, fatally struck by MTA bus while making U-turn on scooter in the Bronx

A man was struck and killed by an MTA bus as he made a U-turn on a scooter in the Bronx, cops said.

The 32-year-old victim was riding his scooter west on Jerome Ave. when he made the U-turn and was struck by the oncoming Bx28 bus near E. Mosholu Parkway in Bedford Park around 5:14 p.m., according to police.

Medics rushed the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he died.

The victim’s ID is being withheld until his family is notified of his death.
