A celebrity-approved smash burger chain based in New York City has continued its expansion to Boston.
7th Street Burger opened at 475 W Broadway in South Boston on Thursday. This comes after the company opened its first Massachusetts location on Newbury Street in Boston on March 20.
7th Street Burger focuses on a simple menu featuring made-to-order single and double cheeseburgers, fries and loaded fries. Single burgers typically go for $6.50 while double burgers are priced at $9.50.

Founded by two college friends in June 2021, 7th Street Burger began with a single shop in New York City’s East Village.
The brand has since expanded to include multiple locations throughout New York City, New Jersey and Washington, D.C.
The chain has caught the attention of global superstar Bad Bunny, who once mentioned that he likes to grab one of 7th Street’s smash burgers when he’s in New York, Sporked reported.
The Puerto Rican musician said in an interview with Spanish influencer Ibai Llanos that his go-to order is a double smash burger with all the fixings (onion, pickles, cheese and 7th Street’s house-made sauce).
