NYC Marathon runner Liz Healy talks about her journey fighting cancer and her message for people fighting cancer.
UPPER EAST SIDE (WABC) — More than 55,000 runners are expected to compete in the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon.
Among them is Liz Healy, a mother from the Upper East Side, who is battling cancer.
This is her fourth NYC marathon and is running as part of NYRR’s ‘Team Inspire.’
Liz says running not only keeps her going, but is helping her raise $100,000 to fight colon cancer.
She has a potentially life-saving message to share.
