Four years in, the Peltz Beckhams are still managing to spice up their love life. Amid continuous parent-child drama, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham posted a tribute to his wife, Nicola, on their fourth anniversary today featuring both a public message and a written card from him to his wife. “I love you with all my heart,” the 27-year-old wrote on his Instagram Story. “Can’t wait to stay young with you xx love you so so much.” In the note to his wife, he added that “We have been through so much together and today we are stronger than ever and you are my best friend x I can’t wait to grow old with together with you.” So are they growing old or staying young? Honestly, with modern plastic surgery, maybe they could do both.
The confirmation of the couple’s steadfast bond comes a few months after Brooklyn blew up already-strained family relations with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, also on Instagram Stories. “For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family,” Brooklyn wrote in January. “The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.”
Now he’s saluting his wife’s parents. In the post after his tribute to Nicola, Brooklyn posted flowers with a note from Nicola’s parents, billionaires Nelson and Claudia Peltz. “Wishing you a beautiful anniversary day!” his in-laws wrote. “Love you guys and miss you! Can’t wait to see you soon!”
Elsewhere in Beckhamland, Brooklyn’s younger brother Cruz released a new song called “Waste Your Pain.” “I ain’t gonna waste my pain on you / Unless you’re gonna waste your pain on me,” he sings on the bouncy, guitar-driven track. “I can finally see us moving on / Us being free.” Is the song about his brother? None of his lyrics are specific enough to prove that, but it’s certainly fun to imagine it is.
