COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. — A New York Mills man faces several charges after a domestic dispute in Otsego County.
The Otsego County Sheriff’s Office said the dispute happened in Pittsfield and involved 26-year-old Devin Sanchez.
Officials said Sanchez restrained the alleged victim by the neck, obstructing their breathing during the dispute.
They said Sanchez also shoved the victim, causing the victim’s head to hit a wall.
Deputies said they found Sanchez in possession of an unregistered and unserialized ghost gun.
Sanchez is charged with criminal obstruction of breathing, harassment, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a firearm.
