Game 81. No shortage of drama, except it’s quite backwards. The Nets (20-60) are only one game ahead of the Utah Jazz (21-59) and Sacramento Kings (21-59) for a chance at 14 percent odds at the No. 1 pick and 52.1 percent at a top-4 pick. It’s all a lottery and nothing is guaranteed, but the fact it’s gotten to this point is it’s own story.
The Jazz have lost 10 in a row. Washington has lost nine of its last 10. Brooklyn’s 3-7 stretch was enough to make this a close race — even at 20 wins — with two games remaining. Let’s see how things shake out against another shameless, late-season tanking team.
