We may not have been trick-or-treating yet, but the treats have been rolling in nonstop lately—and they go far beyond Halloween. Sure, we’ll be grabbing Dunkin’s Spider Donut and Candy Bar Latte to soak up the last few days of spooky season, but most drive-thrus have already begun releasing their holliest and jolliest menu items.

Starbucks is gearing up for the return of its Peppermint Mocha, Cracker Barrel’s Country Fried Turkey is suitable for any holiday dinner, and the Cinnamon ‘N’ Raisin Biscuits from Hardee’s are the easiest holiday brunch treat.

Now, to wrap up the month in a bow, Dairy Queen is the latest restaurant to trade its ghouls for garland as its holiday menu has officially landed at stores nationwide.

Dairy Queen’s 2025 Holiday Menu Is Here

Every year, DQ tends to include a peppermint-flavored Blizzard in its holiday lineup, which, prior to last year, was typically the Candy Cane Chill Blizzard. In 2024, Dairy Queen deviated from the vanilla Blizzard with candy cane pieces and chocolate chunks by introducing the chocolatey Peppermint Hot Cocoa Blizzard.

This year, DQ is going back to its vanilla roots with its new Peppermint Bark Blizzard. The new minty Blizzard is a take on the fan-loved treat that many of us wait all year to make—or, (who are we kidding?) buy at Costco. Meaning, it combines both white and milk chocolate flavors with peppermint candy cane pieces, all blended with DQ’s legendary soft serve.

The Peppermint Bark Blizzard will be DQ’s November Blizzard of the Month, followed by the returning Frosted Sugar Cookie Blizzard as December’s featured treat. This beloved Blizzard features sugar cookie pieces, icing, and sprinkles in DQ’s soft-serve for a treat you’d want to fight Santa for on his cookie plate.

In addition to the holiday Blizzards, DQ is releasing a new Holiday Nog Shake, inspired by the popular holiday drink. Eggnog is nothing new, yet between Starbucks’ returning Eggnog Latte and DQ’s new shake, the creamy, nutmeg-spiced beverage seems to be having a moment this year.

Dairy Queen’s new Holiday Nog Shake is made with Holiday Nog syrup blended with soft-serve and milk and garnished with whipped cream and nutmeg.

Dairy Queen’s holiday menu is available now, for a limited time. While it will eventually replace the autumn menu and the Oreo x Reese’s October Blizzard of the Month, you’ll still have a few more days to “head for Pennsylvania and some homemade pumpkin pie” Blizzard treats before they’re gone.

But, it’s official, you’d better watch out, Santa Claus is coming to town—and he brought Peppermint Bark, Holiday Nog, and Frosted Sugar Cookies to DQ.
