Lainey Wilson's Boot Brand Golden West Hosts NYC Launch [PHOTOS]

Lainey Wilson‘s new boot brand Golden West hosted a New York City launch event on Friday ahead of the country star’s Madison Square Garden concert, welcoming guests to Manhattan Pendry West for a day of boots, brunch and blowouts.

Wilson herself had time to stop by before her show, modeling the Somewhere Over Laredo boots —the label’s top style —with bell-bottoms, a fur-trimmed jacket, and a cowboy hat. Also present was Golden West creative director Michael Petry, who has lent his skills to a number of brands through the years, including Frye, Tumi, Prada, Ralph and Adidas.

In addition to offering brunch bites and drinks, the event hosted a pop-up blowout bar, courtesy of Sarah Potempo and the team at Beachweaver Co., for VIPs going to the concert.

Wilson previously discussed her new footwear venture with FN in an email interview.

“I’ve been wearing boots since before I can remember — they’re the first shoes I remember putting on,” she shared. “From working on the farm to performing on stage, boots have always been the first thing I reach for. I wanted to create my own brand because to me, boots are more than fashion — each pair tells a story through their craftsmanship and wear. I designed these boots with trailblazers in mind, with every handcrafted detail made with purpose and soul.”
