NEW YORK (PIX11) – The weather in New York City is expected to be in the 60s and 70s starting Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

Monday is expected to be partly sunny, with temperatures around 76. At night, there is a chance of showers. Tuesday is expected to be another partly sunny day, with a high near 76.

By Tuesday night, there will be some clouds, and the low will remain a comfortable 63, according to the seven-day forecast.

Wednesday will also be sunny, with the high reaching 81. This will be another day in the 80s, since March 10th, when Central Park reached 80 degrees on Tuesday, the earliest 80-degree day on record.

Thursday looks like another warm day in the 80s, with at least a 30 percent chance of rain. The low temperature should be around 63. Friday may have some showers as well, but generally, New York can expect sunny weather, with a high of 71.

Next Saturday and Sunday are also expected to be in the 70s.

Following this weather warm-up, “Temperatures will be warmer than average, especially starting in May. Precipitation is expected to be below average in both April and May.”
