
One seriously injured in Bronx building fire: FDNY
THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — One person was seriously injured after the top floor of a Bronx building erupted into flames Sunday, according to the FDNY.
Citizen video shows flames and smoke pouring out of broken windows from the multiple dwelling at 538 Claremont Pkwy in the Bronx.
FDNY officials said firefighters were called to the area just before 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.
One person was seriously injured in the fire, according to officials.
Earlier on Sunday, two firefighters were injured in a three-alarm blaze at an abandoned Manhattan building.
The cause of the fire was not yet known.
