Nearly three months after Brooklyn Beckham made shocking allegations against his famous family in a multi-part Instagram Story, his ex-girlfriend Hana Cross is opening up about the Beckhams.
“Since we broke up, which was many years ago now, there’s been a lot of press and a lot of talk,” Cross — who was briefly linked to David and Victoria Beckham’s son in 2018 and 2019 — said in an interview with Hello! published Sunday, April 12, referring to the ongoing family feud.
“It’s hard because I don’t look back on that as a fond time, on reflection,” she said, prefacing that she’s “never been pressured or received any warning from them not to speak out about it or say anything about the relationship.”
In January, the 27-year-old model flatly stated that he does “not want to reconcile with my family,” making shocking claims against his famous mother, 51, and father, 50.
Brooklyn claimed that the Spice Girls singer canceled designing wife Nicola Peltz’s wedding gown for their special day at the 11th hour. He also alleged that his parents tried to “bribe” him into “signing away the rights” to his name and said that he felt his wife, 31, has been constantly ostracized from the family throughout their relationship.

Cross told Hello!, “My time with the family caused me a lot of anxiety, in all honesty. There were a lot of warning signs and things that happened during the relationship that, in hindsight, should have made me think and maybe end the relationship or walk away from it a lot sooner than I did.”
“But I was only 20, 21 when we dated, and I had just started modelling, and I came from living on a farm to moving to London and being thrown into a relationship like that,” she added. “It’s hard to know what’s best to do in that situation. No one really knew, and I didn’t, really.”

Cross — who said she hasn’t been in touch with Brooklyn “for a while” — admitted that “it was a bit shocking to me” to see Brooklyn make such damning allegations on his Instagram Story, adding: “It was a surprise. I guess it shocked his family, too… but it summed up a lot of my own experiences as well and the way that their family as a brand does act.”
“But then, nobody knows what’s going on behind closed doors,” she added. “But I do think it’s sad that everything had to be put out there on his side, so openly and publicly.”
Victoria and David have not publicly addressed Brooklyn’s statement head-on. The soccer player, however, spoke about the morals and values he’s tried to instill in his children less than 24 hours after Brooklyn’s statement, but wouldn’t answer further questions directly related to the public family feud.
