Hospitality mogul David Grutman has been credited with transforming the nightlife and hospitality scene on a global scale.
The entrepreneur has built a portfolio of high-energy environments, including Miami’s high-end Komodo restaurant and Papi Steak, a steakhouse in Las Vegas.
Now, Grutman is sharing how he transformed himself from a 21-year-old bartender into a hospitality mogul by adopting a relationship-first leadership model in his new book, “Take It Personal: How to Succeed by Building Relationships and Playing the Long Game.”
Grutman, the author and founder of Groot Hospitality, joined “The Rush Hour” on Monday to talk about his new book and the difficulties of opening a New York City venture.
