The temperature hit 80 degrees on Sunday, marking the first day central Minnesota has reached that milestone since last year! Appropriately, Dairy Queens were packed throughout the day with people hoping to get a cool treat on a hot day.

Last month, Dairy Queen introduced its Countdown to Summer menu, which includes a S’Mores Blizzard, Cotton Candy Blizzard and Strawberry Angel Food Cake Blizzard.
The Strawberry Angel Food Cake Blizzard features angel food cake pieces and real strawberries blended with soft serve, the S’mores Blizzard (a returning favorite) is packed with marshmallow-filled chocolate bars and graham crackers and the Cotton Candy Blizzard (another returner) blends cotton candy sprinkles and soft serve.

Dairy Queen is rolling out three brand new, breakfast-inspired Blizzard flavors this summer, beginning on April 27th.
The Choco Frosted Donut Blizzard features chocolate frosted donut pieces and sprinkles; the Fruity Pebbles Shake combines the cereal with soft serve and milk and the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Dipped Cone offers soft serve dipped in the sugary cereal.
