STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Caiden Gnerre didn’t mince words while describing the importance of setting the tone in Notre Dame Academy’s CHSAA Tier 1 semifinal against St. Joseph Hill.
“We lost to them two times during the regular season, so we knew we needed to get on the board early,’’ said the sophomore. ”We needed that momentum to get us going, then carry us throughout the game.’’
