As a cat lover, I am fully aware how persistent and determined they can be, but this cat tops them all.
“Ray Ray,” a really cute Tabby from Pennsylvania wanted to go to New York City and New Hampshire with his family so badly that he rode on top of the family van for 100 miles before the family discovered he was there.
The Denardo family was busy getting ready for their adventure, according to the Pittsburg Post-Gazette. Tony Denardo was going to run in a half marathon in Keene, New Hampshire and the family was going to head to NYC after that.

They had put out water and food for the cats and dogs. Ray Ray was an indoor/outdoor cat and he must have climbed up on the roof of the family van before they took off.
They traveled down the highway doing 70, 80 miles per hour, climbing hills and going over bumps – all with sweet Ray Ray on the roof of the van.
Mara Denardo said;
We had driven for two hours and needed to stop for gas. My husband gets out of the car to pump the gas and is like, ‘The cat is on the roof.’
From Ray Ray’s Instagram page, (Oh yeah he does have one…) the cat really loved New Hampshire. Apparently, he really wanted to go into the water! This cat is unbelievable!
When the family went to New York City, Ray Ray was in the middle of Times Square and was just taking it all in looking super chill!
What an unbelievable story. It really happened. Mara is going to write a children’s book to recount the cat’s adventures.
