Lily Allen and David Harbour‘s Brooklyn townhouse is getting attention amid the British singer’s breakup album.
Allen, 40, and Harbour, 50, bought a five-bedroom brownstone in Brooklyn after tying the knot in 2020 and once gave fans a look at their “weird and wonderful” interior in an Architectural Digest house tour. However, after separating in late 2024, the home is now on the market for $7.995 million.

Allen sings about the now-infamous home on the title track of her new album, West End Girl, which she wrote during the breakdown of their marriage. “Now I’m looking at houses with four or five floors / And you’ve found us a brownstone, said ‘You want it? It’s yours’ / So we went ahead and we bought it / Found ourselves a good mortgage, / Billy Cotton got sorted / All the furniture ordered,” she sings, referencing the home.

The 19th-century Italianate brownstone, located in Brooklyn’s Carroll Gardens neighborhood was made into a colorful haven with architect Ben Bischoff and designer Billy Cotton.
The home was covered in vibrant, floral wallpapers in every room, topped with crystal chandeliers, odd portraits, and, rather controversially, a carpeted bathroom. The home also hosted amenities like a gated backyard with a sauna, walk-in closets, long bookshelves, and more.
“Lily is someone who lives with color in a deeper way than most. Her taste is bold, silly, fun, eccentric – it’s exciting,” Harbour told AD in 2023.
“I’ve always been interested in interiors, and I’ve always done my own homes. But this was a big undertaking, and I needed help. Together, Billy and I tried to reach for something weird and wonderful,” Allen said. “My kids call this the clown house.” Allen is a mom to daughters Ethel, 13, and Marnie, 12, with ex-husband Sam Cooper.
