Sol Cabrini (Ph.D. Candidate) and Shirine Saad will be hosting a night of experimentation and exploration of ecstatic noise from Kingston to Chicago, Cairo and Beirut as sonic renegades at Sisters in Brooklyn on Monday, April 27th at 7pm. They will riff on breaks, disruptions, spells, alchemies and euphoria in the midst of disaster.

Sol Cabrini is an artist, poet, musician, and scholar. Her books include Tgirl.jpg(Roof Books) and Poetics of Unbeing, forthcoming with Duke University Press. Her practice examines the various ways in which creolization in language perform in our world.

Shirine Saad is a Beirut-born, Brooklyn-based writer, programmer and DJ focusing on culture and social change. Their theoretical essay on Arab* feminist and queer art is forthcoming at Routledge; Eruptions: A Noise Zine was released fall 2025, funded by the Brooklyn Arts Council.
