Queens World Film Festival and The Queens Memory Project present The First Amendment Corridor. Step into the First Amendment Corridor, an interactive experience where participants are part of a living installation exploring the freedoms of speech, press, religion, assembly, and petition. April 17, 2026, 5:00-7:30 pm, 5-25 46th Avenue in Long Island City. Katha Cato will host the evening with special guests.

Take part in First Amendment Corridor that transforms a Culture Lab hallway into a living expression of the five freedoms of the First Amendment. As participants move through the corridor, they will interact with stations dedicated to speech, press, religion, assembly, and petition. Participants will be provided booklets to record reactions or use postits to leave messages for future guests as they share concerns, suggest stories that need to be told, and document participation with a Polaroid camera. Uplift a story that needs to be told. Each interaction adds another element to the collective experience. As the Corridor wraps up, participants are invited to segue into Sunset Jazz at Culture Lab LIC featuring Mark Wade Trio.
