Marquette women’s basketball continued its offseason retooling with its first transfer portal addition.

Former South Florida wing Brooklyn Hall, the younger sister of WNBA draftee Bree Hall, announced her commitment to Marquette via Instagram on Thursday afternoon. The 6-foot-1 Hall is Marquette’s second offseason acquisition, joining incoming first-year guard Kinley Asp.

Originally a four-star recruit in the class of 2026, Hall reclassified and redshirted last season, coming to the Golden Eagles with all four years of eligibility remaining. She followed newly hired assistant coach and recruiting coordinator Sheila Boykin from South Florida to Marquette.

In her last high school season Western Reserve Academy, during 2024-25, Hall averaged 18.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.0 rebounds per game. She joined the Pioneers’ 1,000-point club in just three years.

After acquiring Asp and Carter complement backcourt returners JJ Barnes, Kam Herring and Jordan Meulemans, MU will look to find more reinforcements in the post as the as the roster rebuild continues.
